Our coverage

A regional focus. A route-specific review.

Dynamic Solvents reviews domestic and cross-border freight enquiries from its Cape Town base across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. Share the actual collection and delivery points; service availability is subject to cargo, route and operational review.

Start with the locations, then the requirements.

A country or city name is the beginning of the brief. Exact locations, site access, cargo status, equipment requirements and timing determine what needs to be assessed for a movement.

Our public regional focus is South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. Service availability is subject to cargo, route and operational review.

From collection point to delivery brief.

Collection and delivery requirements come together in the route review.

Collection

Route review

Assess the route, cargo and documents.

Delivery

What helps a route review.

Origin and destination.

Exact locations, collection and receiving contacts, opening hours and access constraints.

Cargo and equipment.

Description, packaging, dimensions, weight and handling or temperature conditions.

Ports and borders.

Port or depot involvement, proposed border handovers if known, customs status and the responsible importer, exporter or agent.

Timing and readiness.

Cargo-ready date, outstanding releases or documents, required delivery window and fixed appointments or handovers.

A border adds responsibilities to the brief.

For a cross-border road freight enquiry, identify the origin, destination and any proposed transit countries. The route review needs to clarify the applicable operator permissions, customs procedure, cargo controls and documentation before arrangements are confirmed.

The C-BRTA describes cross-border road-transport permits for operators under South Africa's framework. SARS describes transit through South Africa and the licensed-remover and document requirements for bonded transit. Other countries' requirements must be checked for the actual route; these sources do not establish one universal regional checklist.

Make the receiving end part of the plan.

Include the receiving contact, delivery-site access and unloading arrangements. Tell us who can resolve documentation or handover questions at each end, particularly where more than one organisation is involved.

Share both ends of the movement.

Send the collection and delivery points, cargo and required timing for review.
